Two different bottles of Merlot every month.
Merlot-based wines usually have medium body with hints of berry, plum, and currant. In California, where the wines in this club originate, Merlot can range from very fruity simple wines (sometimes referred to by critics as a “red Chardonnay”) to more serious, barrel aged examples. This monthly club lets you sample these different varieties and flavors of Merlot. The different flavors range according to the climate. With Merlot made in cooler climates they can have flavors of strawberry, red berry, plum, cedar, and/or tobacco. Medium climates: Blackberry, black plum, and/or black cherry. In hot climates, the flavor can embody more of a fruitcake or chocolate flavor.
