Two different kinds of Syrah every month.
Syrah is a dark-skinned grape grown throughout the world and used primarily to produce powerful red wines. Wines made from Syrah are often powerfully flavored and full-bodied. The Syrah variety produces wines with a wide range of flavor notes, depending on the climate and soils where it is grown, as well as other viticultural practices chosen. When made in a medium climate, Syrah can have a flavor of mint, Eucalyptus , smoked meat, and/or black pepper. In hotter climates, it embodies more of a taste similar to that of black licorice and/or cloves. Typically, Syrah holds more of a blackberry or dark chocolate flavor. Therefore, this monthly club is great for those who like a stronger, full flavored wine.
